H&I and Subcommittee Purpose
H & I Carries the NA message of recovery to addicts who do not have full access to regular NA meetings. Meetings or presentations are provided to hospitals, jails, addiction treatment facilities, detox centers, and other institutions. The H & I Subcommittee is a group of NA members that come together to manage and participate in these meetings and provides structure to the meetings held in facilities. We work with the facilities to provide the patients and inmates with a good experience of Narcotics Anonymous.

H&I Statement
WHY IS AN H&I MEETING/PRESENTATION NEEDED?
The purpose of an H&I meeting is to carry the NA message of recovery to addicts who do not have full access to regular Narcotics Anonymous meetings. H&I meetings/presentations, except for those in longer-term facilities, are intended to simply introduce those attending to some of the basics of the NA program.
